Peonix runs a flower shop: orders, stock, products, the shop's website. The Peonix AI assistant connects that shop to the chat you already use — Claude, ChatGPT, or another app that supports remote MCP connectors — so you can ask about the shop and change it in plain words.
What it can do
- Read the shop's orders (customers' and recipients' first names only — the first word of the name as entered, letters only), what is still to be built today, stock and what to buy, ready bouquets on the shelf, revenue and profit, unpaid orders and write-offs, the products and their storefront details, the shop's sale discounts, its delivery time windows, and whether the website's translations are up to date.
- Manage products: create a product (with its starting price and stock), change its name, description and storefront details (colours, search texts, «ask for a quote»), show it on the website or hide it, and duplicate it (the copy starts hidden, without photos or stock). Sizes (two to six of them), vases with their own bouquet photo, and add-ons offered in the cart can be set up as well.
- Manage product photos: add a picture from a public web address, choose the main photo, remove one — or hand you a link that opens the product's photo editor on your phone without signing in, for the product or for the bouquet in a particular vase. Anyone who has the link can use it for 30 minutes, so do not forward it.
- Money, only after you confirm: change an existing product's price, launch a sale discount (at most 70% and 30 days) or stop one. For these Peonix itself first shows a summary and changes nothing until you say yes in the chat; the confirmation lasts 10 minutes and works once, and at most 10 confirmed changes an hour are accepted. A confirmation given in the chat counts as yours: Peonix cannot tell whether a person or the chat app typed it. A discount above 70% and the shop's very first discount are launched in Peonix, not from the chat.
- Delivery: change the «Anytime during the day» option, its name and how many hours ahead it closes. The delivery windows themselves are edited in Peonix.
- Edit the shop's website: change texts, add, remove and reorder blocks and list entries (questions, reviews, links), adjust the catalogue filters, and publish the draft when you ask it to. Translations into the other languages are made automatically. Many chat apps ask you to approve each change before it is made; check your app's settings. Publishing makes the change visible on your public website immediately.
What it never does
- Peonix does not give it a customer's phone number, email, street address, order notes or gift-card message, or any payment details or passwords. For a delivery it gives the city and ZIP code, not the street.
- It cannot change orders or customers, take or refund payments, or change the stock of an existing product. Prices and sale discounts change only with your confirmation, as described above.
- It does not reach another shop: everything it does is limited to the shop of the person who connected it.
Who can connect it
The administrator of a shop on the Pro or Business plan (and during the free trial). The assistant acts with that administrator's rights, and every change it makes is written to the shop's journal as «via assistant».
How to connect
Claude (claude.ai and the Claude app): open Customize → Connectors → «+» → Add custom connector, paste https://peonix.app/mcp and press Add. Then press Connect on the new connector: Peonix opens — sign in and press Allow. On Claude Team and Enterprise, the organization's owner adds the connector first; each person then presses Connect.
ChatGPT: where your plan offers developer mode, a custom connector is added there (Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced), with the same address.
Gemini (web): where your account offers custom apps, Settings → Connected apps → Add a custom app, with the same address.
Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http peonix https://peonix.app/mcp, then type /mcp, pick peonix and sign in.
Nothing else is typed: no keys, no tokens. The same address works for every shop — the shop is the one you sign in to.
Examples
- «What is booked for tomorrow, and what is still unpaid?»
- «Will I have enough roses for Saturday's orders? What should I buy?»
- «Add a bouquet called Spring Peony for $85 and put it on the website.»
- «Give me a link to add photos to the Peony luxe bouquet from my phone.»
- «Change the headline on the home page to "Fresh peonies every Friday" and show me the draft before publishing.»
Disconnecting
Peonix → Settings → Integrations → Connected assistants → Disconnect stops an assistant at once; the photo links it handed out stop when you have no assistant left connected. A connection nobody uses for 30 days ends by itself, and changing your password or signing out everywhere disconnects every assistant you connected. If the shop moves to a plan without the assistant, its connections sleep and work again, without a new sign-in, when the shop is back on Pro.
Data and privacy
Peonix sends the chat app only what it reads to answer you (listed above). Once there, it is held by the chat provider under your account and that provider's terms — Peonix has no contract with the provider, cannot see, retrieve or delete it, and does not control whether the provider keeps it or uses it to improve its models; check your account's data settings. Disconnecting stops further access immediately but does not remove what the chat already has. Peonix keeps a record of each connection (which app, which administrator, when it was made, last used and disconnected) while your shop's account exists, and stores its access codes only in hashed form; every change the assistant makes is written to the shop's journal as «via assistant» and kept like any other journal entry. Peonix does not use what passes through the connector for advertising or to train any model. Your customers' and recipients' first names and delivery city and ZIP go to the chat provider you chose: you are responsible for telling your customers about that where the law requires it. Full detail: Privacy Policy.
AI answers can be wrong
Answers and changes come from the chat app's AI model, not from Peonix, and can be wrong. Check a figure on its Peonix screen before you order, bill or quote it, and review the website before and after publishing.
